| Oma and Opa came to visit us again
in Willingboro, NJ. in 1976. They, and many others, came to the US
not only to visit with family but also for the Bicentennial of
the American Revolution. As we were preparing for company, our British
neighbors across the street and our family were contemplating hoisting
the "Union Jack" and the German flag on the "British
and German Embassies,"
which is what we called our homes jokingly, due to the many visitors
we had from Europe during that year. |
